Support & Help
Your offline-first companion for daily worship.
Wird brings accurate prayer times, the qibla compass, authentic adhkar, and the full Quran together in one calm, ad-free app — and it works fully offline. Most questions are answered below; if you need more help, email us and we'll reply within 1–2 business days.
Requirements
- An iPhone running a recent version of iOS, or an Android device running a recent version of Android.
- Location permission for prayer-time calculation and qibla direction (a magnetometer/compass is needed for the qibla compass).
- Notification permission if you want adhan and prayer reminders.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do prayer times work without an internet connection?
Yes. Prayer times are calculated on your device from your location, so they work with no internet connection. Adhkar and the full Quran text are also available offline.
The prayer times look slightly off. How do I fix them?
Open settings and pick the calculation method used in your region — Muslim World League, Umm al-Qura, ISNA, and more are available. You can also switch the Asr calculation between Hanafi and Shafi, and apply per-prayer manual offsets (in minutes) to match your local mosque.
Why does Wird need my location?
Your location is used to calculate prayer times and to point the qibla toward the Kaaba. It is used for a one-time lookup, processed on your device, and never shared. You can revoke location access anytime in Settings — see the Privacy Policy for details.
The qibla compass seems inaccurate.
The compass relies on your device's magnetometer. Move away from metal objects, magnets, and electronics, then calibrate by moving the device in a figure-eight motion. Make sure location access is enabled so the direction can be computed for your position.
Adhan or prayer notifications aren't firing.
Make sure notifications are enabled for Wird in your device's Settings, and that the adhan notification is turned on for each prayer in the app. On some devices, battery-optimization or focus/Do-Not-Disturb settings can suppress scheduled alerts — allow Wird to run in the background and to deliver time-sensitive notifications.
What's in the adhkar section?
Wird includes morning, evening, and post-prayer adhkar, plus a built-in tasbeeh counter with haptic feedback so you can keep count by feel.
Does the Quran include translation and recitation?
The full Quran text is available offline with bookmarks and continue-reading. You can search, read a translation, and play recitation audio. Audio playback may require a connection depending on the recitation you choose.
How is my privacy protected?
Wird runs on your device and collects nothing — no account, no analytics, no ads. Your location never leaves your device beyond a one-time lookup. See the full Privacy Policy for details.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email info@duraid.net with your device model, OS version, and a short description of what happened. Details about what you expected vs. what occurred help a lot.
